It's not always the adults who are affected by politics, not always the active members of parties or the passionate speaker behind the podium. Sometimes it's the most vulnerable who are the most affected by politics.
A decision has been made to review the withdrawal of £6.5 million worth of funding, which for a facility such as the National Star College is essential. The money promised to the college was for a much needed and exciting new developement.
The National Star College plays host to 350 students (145 of these being residents). All of which were incredibly excited for the new developments, which were to be made using the promised fund money.
The Liberal Democrats Shadow Minister for innovation, universities and skills has thrown it's weight behind the campaign in order to reverse a Government decision to withdraw funding, which was launched today at Westminster by the National Star College.
Whilst this issue is argued, the development goes unotuched. However the Liberal Democrats want you, the youth of today to step up, and help those who can't help themselves. http://www.natstar.ac.uk/Events_89.asp
